Let It Snow! Winter Has Arrived in The Blue Mountains
How perfect is this? The very day we launch “The Escarpment” – our brand-new blog – Mother Nature delivers a beautiful dusting of snow across The Blue Mountains. And she’s not done yet. Thanks to classic lake-effect snow squalls rolling in off Georgian Bay and Lake Huron, the forecast is calling for another 20+ cm of fresh powder over the next few days. Winter has officially checked in, and we couldn’t be more excited!
All eyes are now on Blue Mountain Resort. With cold temperatures settling in tonight, those snow guns are about to roar to life. The resort’s recently upgraded snow-making system is one of the best in Ontario, and the team will be working around the clock to build a solid base as fast as possible. Fingers crossed we hear news of an earlier-than-planned opening day very soon!
